Principal's Message

Dear Madison Families,

I am incredibly honored and excited to introduce myself as the new principal of Madison Elementary School for the upcoming school year. During my time in district 44, I have heard so many wonderful things about the Madison community, from the dedicated teachers and staff to the deeply involved partnerships with our parents. It is clear that Madison is a special place, and I am thrilled to join this amazing community.

To share a little bit about my background, I have spent my career dedicated to supporting students, teachers, and families. For the last two years, I had the privilege of serving as the principal at Park View Elementary School. Prior to my time there, I spent twelve years in the Niles Elementary School District 71, initially serving as a middle school math and Spanish teacher for five years, a dean of students for one year, and subsequently as an assistant principal for six years. 

My journey in education actually began seventeen years ago when I taught abroad in Pachuca, Hidalgo, Mexico, a wonderful city just north of Mexico City, where I served as a middle school math teacher for two years. Above all, the most important title I hold is being a dad to two wonderful girls.

As your principal, my goal is to continue building on Madison's strong traditions while working collaboratively with you to support every student's growth and success. I firmly believe that a thriving school culture is rooted in strong, trusting relationships, and I am committed to being highly visible, approachable, and actively engaged with our staff, students, and families. I look forward to meeting you all very soon and partnering with you for an incredible school year ahead.
